We strive to meet the needs of others while discerning God’s calling on our lives.
80% of students in the United States change their major in college at least once. 73% end up working in a career unrelated to their major. Our students are getting ready to apply for college and they're about to defy the odds. Many of them know what career God has called them into and they have a plan for how they will live out their faith in the workplace. And it’s all because of the Global Reach Crew. The Global Reach Crew is a year long team experience that trains high school students to live out God’s design for their lives and discern their vocation through an international mission trip where they get to work alongside a missionary in their desired field of work. The result is that students have the opportunity to make a difference in the world while gaining clarity around their calling.
Who We Are
Since its inception in 2011 we have watched as God has transformed the lives of over 170 students who have participated in the program. This team requires the students to go through extensive training in cross-cultural ministry, evangelism and missions. The team experience reaches its climax with the students traveling to the Dominican Republic where they work to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the local people. During and after the trip students reflect on their experience both individually and in community to discern God’s direction for their life.
What We Do
There is no other program like this in our area and we want to see it continue and eventually expand so that more students have the opportunity to participate and find success in their college and career path. The only way we can do that is with your help.
